Nu Plasma 3 is the 3rd generation Laser Multi-collector ICPMS (LA MC-ICPMS) system of Nu Instruments, completed and installed by ADST at the Institute of Earth Sciences – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in 2023. The first and only MC-ICPMS system in Vietnam provides the best accuracy and repeatability, and can simultaneously detect isotopes. The system uses the “Zoom Optic” dispersion-adjusted ion separation system, allowing simultaneous measurement of isotopes of elements from lithium to actinide. The ion collection system consists of 16 Faraday cups and up to six ion counters. In particular, thanks to Zoom Optic ion dispersion adjustment technology, the Faraday cups and ion counters are fixed, making them easy to use and maintain with excellent reliability.
